FORRSTROM SEAMER
1.
Operate the seamer only if you have been
trained and authorized to do so.
2.
Keep the Operator’s Manual easily accessible
to the operator.
3.
Do not wear loose or frayed clothing,
long hair, rings, etc., near machinery and other sources of entanglement.
4.
Never put your hands or other part of
the body (or any living thing) under the welding press while the machine
is activated.
5.
Always use a minimum of two people to
operate the seamer – and communicate your intended moves to all those
working in the area.
6.
Beware of cords and the metal braces
at the end of the table, they could pose a trip hazard.
7.
Keep the workplace free of foreign or
loose objects.
8.
PERSONS WITH PACEMAKERS OR IMPLANTED
METAL OBJECTS MUST NOT COME NEAR THE MACHINE WHILE IT IS ACTIVATED.
9.
Jewelry or other metallic objects such
as tools, etc. must not be handled or brought near the welding machine
while it is in operation.
10.
Beware of arcing – keep hands away while
lowering the press or you could be ZAPPED.
11.
WARNING! Even if the machine is inoperative,
it may still carry a voltage, so shut down power and pneumatics before
carrying out any cleaning procedures.
12.
Maintenance and repairs are to be performed
by a qualified third party vendor.
13.
Electrodes used in welding must be at
a height of 75mm(+/- 1mm) to avoid risk of injury to the operator.
14.
WARNING: the laser on the machine is
of Class 3A, which means that the maximum limit for permitted
exposure to the eyes should not be exceeded. If the blinking reflex is suppressed or the
eye repeatedly exposed to radiation, damage to the retina may result. 15. Use the EMERGENCY STOP to shut down the machine immediately if there is any danger to you or anyone else. |
